May 6th-11th is Parent/Guardian Observation & Appreciation Week
We invite our parents, grandparents, guardians, etc. to observe their dancer(s) in their classes. The studio and our dancers have prepared something special for our parents and guardians to show them our appreciation!
5/11 Community Service Project
2-3pm Performance Company is performing at Penninsula Retirement.
3:30-5:00 Community Service Project at the studio - free dance classes, dance history lesson, and entertainment.
5-9pm Parent's Night Out - $25 per child, includes pizza and entertainment - a great alternative to babysitting!

5/28-5/30 Annual Production pictures at the studio
All performers are asked to attend, even if you are not purchasing pictures

5678 Dance Studios is a member of NDEO (National Dance Education Organization), a non-profit membership organization dedicated to the advancement and promotion of high quality education in the art of dance. As a member, we are able to take part in National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA). Student induction into the NHSDA is awarded on the basis of points earned for meritorious work in dance. These students receive a Certificate of Membership, added prestige in scholarship applications & future resumes, wear NHSDA honor cords & gold honor pins during graduation ceremonies, and are eligible to apply for the NDEO Artistic Merit, Leadership and Academic Achievement Award.

We are hosting the 1st exam session for Cecchetti USA in the Pacific Northwest. Our dancers have been carefully preparing for their 1st examination, and we are so proud of all their hard work! The Examiner will be
Sylvia Palmer.
National Ballet of Canada, Fellow and Examiner, Cecchetti USA & C.I.C.B.
Ms Palmer performed for many years with the National Ballet of Canada, CBC TV, and the Canadian Opera Company. Her training was with Kay Armstrong in Vancouver, B.C., the National Ballet School in Toronto, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, and many of the foremost European teachers in London and Paris. She has been the recipient of two Canada Council of the Arts grants for the furtherance of the dance arts. Her students grace the stages of many companies in the U.S. and Great Britain.

Bring a food donation for the Gig Harbor FISH food bank and participate in free classes, dance history lesson, crafts, and face painting from 3:00-5:30pm at the studio. We will be learning the Thriller routine and then will go to Uptown for our Flashmob performance at 6pm. Come dressed as a Zombie and ready for fun!
